DALLAS, TX - Sequel Holdings announced that it has sold Lakeview Farms after seven years of stewardship.
Lakeview Farms, based in Delphos, Ohio, is a manufacturer of a variety of refrigerated food products, including refrigerated desserts, dips and spreads. Lakeview sells its products to large national and regional food retailers under the brand names Lakeview Farms®, Luisa’s®, Señor Rico®, Winky®, Fresh Creations®, Tribe®, Rojo’s®, Salads of the Seas®, Sea Gold®, Santa Barbara Bay® and Smilin’ Bob’s®, as well as several private label store brands.
During Sequel’s ownership, Lakeview completed five acquisitions which added two manufacturing plants to the fold, including one in California and one in Massachusetts. The company also added critical strength and depth to the management team, consolidated a manufacturing facility, upgraded each of the remaining manufacturing facilities (including state of the art automation), grew sales by over 110%, and increased earnings materially
Ron Klein, Partner – Head of Food & Beverage of Sequel Holdings, said “We are pleased that Sequel’s support helped the company develop new products, diversify into new categories, add talent to the management team, and fuel significant earnings growth. We are proud of our successful partnership with Lakeview, and thrilled to deliver a successful realization to our investors.”
