Sequel Holdings Acquires Chairmans Foods - Acquisition Adds New Platform to Sequel’s Portfolio

Sequel Holdings announced today that it has acquired Chairmans Foods, LLC, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
Chairmans Foods manufactures fresh refrigerated and frozen food products for sale to the grocery, club and foodservice channels. The company’s primary products include (i) refrigerated component kits and protein utilization solutions for the deli departments of grocery retailers, (ii) refrigerated pre-packaged chicken salad sold under the Comfort Cuisine® label, (iii) kettle-cooked customized side dishes, and (iv) prepared entrees, soups, sauces and queso products for foodservice and other customers.
Chairmans Foods has been producing high-quality products for over 40 years. Founded on the belief that customer satisfaction comes from producing high-quality products consistently, Chairmans began in the multi-unit “chain” restaurant industry. Over the years, the company expanded to serve customers of all sizes with custom production and packaging needs.
